For my sister’s 40th birthday I realized an animation for the invitation to her party instead of an ordinary card. The invitation is continuously filled with insider knowledge (for example, that she does not want to be addressed at her age and has a weakness for George Clooney) - all knowledge about which her close environment is in the picture. This made it possible to make the invitation funny and very personal.
I also played with numbers: the values listed in the clip at the beginning add up to 40 years, but the guests become an invitation to her 28. birthday. Likewise, exactly 40 candles are shown, but when falling down 12 of them remain on the ground - the difference to her true age.
Even if the guests of course have not calculated or realized this, the host knew about it and really appreciated these little things.
